LIVERMORE — Livermore American Legion Post 415 Veterans Ride is 10 a.m. SATURDAY at the post home, Livermore. Sign in is 10 to 11 a.m. with kickstands up at 11:15 a.m. All vehicles are welcome. Stops include VFW, Dakota City; Rails, Eagle Grove; Blue Moose, Renwick; American Legion, Corwith; Flipside & Handlebar, LuVerne; and return to Livermore for a meal around 5:30 p.m. Jeremy Ober will perform from 7 to 9 p.m. Cost is $25 per bike/vehicle. Those participating may give a veteran’s name and their sign in fee will go to that veteran in the form of a gift card as 100 percent of the sign in fees go directly to veterans. HUMBOLDT — The 17th annual Pumpkins and Ponies is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. SATURDAY and 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. SUNDAY at Springvale Farm, 2603 Lone Tree Road, Humboldt. Free admisson and parking.

EMMETSBURG — Palo Alto Arts Council presents Classics at the Riviera Theatre at 4:30 p.m. SUNDAY. “Strangers on a Train” will be shown. Admission is free.

WEBSTER CITY — The Children’s Business Fair is 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY at Fuller Hall Recreation Center, 625 Bank St., Webster City.

POMEROY — Harper and Midwest Kind will perform at 5 p.m. SUNDAY at Bryon’s Bar, Pomeroy.

MANSON — St. Thomas Catholic Church, Manson, is holding a Roast Beef Dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. SUNDAY in the St. Thomas Parish Hall. Tickets are $15 per person age 4 and older, children age 3 and under are free. Takeouts will be delivered in the city limits of Manson only by calling 712-469-3515.

EMMETSBURG — Main Street Community Theatre presents “The Play that Goes Wrong” at 7:30 p.m. TODAY and SATURDAY and 2 p.m. SUNDAY. General admission tickets are $10 online or at the box office one hour prior to curtain.

EMMETSBURG — First United Methodist Church, Emmetsburg, is holding its annual Soup Supper from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. SUNDAY at the Family Life Center, 711 Broadway. Chili, chicken noodle and beef vegetable soup with rolls and bars will be served for a freewill offering. Proceeds go to Outreach Ministries.

WEST BEND — Sts. Peter and Paul Fall Turkey Dinner is 3:30 to 6:45 p.m. SUNDAY at the Sts. Peter & Paul Parish Hall, West Bend. Tickets are $14 for adults and $7 for children (children tickets are dine-in only) Carryouts are available until 6 p.m. The parish hall is handicap accessible.

EMMETSBURG — Family Wellness Event is 4 to 8 p.m. SATURDAY at Soper Park, Emmetsburg. The event is sponsored by Palo Alto Zero Suicide Coalition.

LEHIGH — Lehigh Methodist Church is holding its Second Sunday Supper from 5 to 7 p.m. SUNDAY at the church. The menu is loose meat sandwiches, pasta salad, chips, desserts and drinks for a freewill offering.

FORT DODGE — Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY in the parking lot north of Brown’s Shoe Fit, 210 S. 25th St.

FORT DODGE — The Fort Dodge Moose Lodge #806 is holding its bi-annual Steak Fry from 4 to 8 p.m. TODAY at 424 First Ave. S. A charcoal grilled 16-ounce T-bone with two sides and a role will be served dine in, carryout or curbside pickup. Cost is $20 per person. Tickets may be purchased at the door while supplies last.

FORT DODGE — Fort Dodge Area Quilters, Inc. presents “A Sea of Quilts” from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. SATURDAY and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. SUNDAY at the Webster County Fairgrounds, 22770 Old Highway 169. Admission is $10 daily or $15 for two days. Lunch will be available for $10 provided by the men’s auxiliary. There will be vendors, quilt raffle, scrap dive and onsite scissor, blade and knife sharpening.

FORT DODGE — Hawkeye Community Theatre, 521 N. 12th St., presents “Mama Won’t Fly” at 7 p.m. TODAY and 2 and 7 p.m. SATURDAY. Tickets are $10 per person.

FORT DODGE — The Iowa High School Music Association State Marching Band Festival begins at 9:30 a.m. SATURDAY at Dodger Stadium. Fort Dodge Senior High will perform at 2:10 p.m. Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for adults over 62 and $3 for students in grades kindergarten through 12th. There is no admission fee for children younger than kindergarten.

FORT DODGE — The Figure 8 Nationals are 7 p.m. TODAY and 6 p.m. SATURDAY at the Webster County Fairgrounds, 22770 Old Hwy. 169. Grandstand admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 5-12. Pit fees are $30 for car and driver or $25 for a pit pass for all ages, must be 16 or older to be in the pits. No food or drink is allowed in the gate.

FORT DODGE — STEAMFest is 1 to 4 p.m. SATURDAY in the Career Education Building at Iowa Central Community College, One Triton Circle. This science, technology, engineering, art and math event for kindergarten to sixth grade students is free and open to the public.

FORT DODGE — Apple Fest is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. SATURDAY and SUNDAY at The Community Orchard, 2237 160th St. The Apple Orchard Cafe will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

FORT DODGE — Walk to End Alzheimer’s — Fort Dodge is 8 a.m. SATURDAY at Fort Dodge Middle School, 800 N. 32nd St. The ceremony will be at 9 a.m. followed by the walk at 9:30 a.m.
