CLARION — United Presbyterian Church, 219 First Street NW, Clarion, is holding a Harvest Hamball Dinner at 11 a.m. SUNDAY. The meal will be dine in or take out. Deliveries will be available by calling 515-532-2709. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for children ages 6 and under.

EMMETSBURG — Bethany Lutheran Church, Emmetsburg, is holding a Scholarship Dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. SUNDAY. A pork loin sandwich with all the fixings will be served for a freewill donation.

EMMETSBURG — Main Street Community Theatre, Emmetsburg, presents “The Play that Goes Wrong” at 7:30 p.m. TODAY and SATURDAY and at 2 p.m. SUNDAY. General admission tickets are available for $10 only or at the box office one hour prior to curtain.

EMMETSBURG — Lost Island Nature Center is holding a Dad’s Belgian Waffle breakfast fundraiser from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. SUNDAY at the Emmetsburg VFW. Advance tickets are $8 and may be purchased at the Lost Island Nature Center or from a Foundation board member. Tickets at the door are $10. Carryout meals will be available.

GOWRIE — Priscilla Schliep, an Olympic medalist in the 100-meter hurdles, will attend a Meet and Greet from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. SUNDAY at Gowrie United Methodist Church. Those attending will have the chance to try on Schliep’s Olympic medal and pose for a photo. A light hot dog lunch will be served. There is no cost to attend the event but a freewill offering will be accepted.

FORT DODGE — Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY in the parking lot north of Brown’s Shoe Fit, 210 S. 25th St.

FORT DODGE — Holy Trinity Parish annual Spaghetti Dinner is 4:30 to 7 p.m. SUNDAY at the Corpus Christi Center, 405 N. Eighth St. The meal will be dine in or carryout. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 12 and under.

FORT DODGE — Daybreak Rotary Chili and Cinnamon Roll Drive-thru only Supper is 4 to 7 p.m. SATURDAY at First Presbyterian Church, 1111 Fifth Ave. N. A bowl of chili and jumbo cinnamon roll are $10 per person.

FORT DODGE — Apple Fest is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. SATURDAY and SUNDAY at The Community Orchard, 2237 160th St. The Apple Orchard Cafe will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

FORT DODGE — Hillbilly Sale and Flea Market is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. SATURDAY and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. SUNDAY at the Webster County Fairgrounds, 22770 Old Highway 169 S. Gate admission is $2 per person 12 and over. Food vendors available.

FORT DODGE — First United Methodist Church Rummage Sale is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. TODAY and 9 a.m. to noon SATURDAY at 1002 First Ave. N., enter through west doors or elevator. Saturday only will feature $3 bags and large items half off.

FORT DODGE — A benefit for Michael Hilbert begins at 11 a.m. SUNDAY at Family Bowling Center, 3599 Fifth Ave. S. Hilbert lost his home and dog in a house fire on August 29. Check in is 11 a.m. with bowling starting at noon. Cost is $160 per four person team. Three games of nine pin will be played. There will also be a silent auction. FORT DODGE — Fort Dodge Area Symphony presents “American Anthem” at 3 p.m. SUNDAY at Fort Dodge Middle School, 800 N. 32nd St. Tickets are $15 for adults and free for students.

FORT DODGE — First Covenant Church, 201 Ave. H, will hold Trunk or Treat from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on SUNDAY.
