FD Councilman Conrad to resign
Fort Dodge City Councilman Neven Conrad is resigning, effective Oct. 11.
Conrad, an attorney, has been named the new Humboldt County magistrate, effective Oct. 23. The Iowa Code of Judicial Conduct prohibits a magistrate or judge from holding political office.
Conrad is an at-large councilman. He was elected to his first four-year term in 2015 and was re-elected in 2019.
