BADGER — Badger Lions Club Pancake Breakfast is 8 a.m. to noon SUNDAY at the Badger Fire Station. All the pancakes you can eat plus sausage, eggs, orange juice, milk, or coffee will be served. Advance tickets are $5. Tickets at the door are $6 per person, $3 for children ages 5 to 10 and free for children ages 4 and under. Those attending may bring used eyeglasses and hearing aids for Lions to recycle. The net profit will support community and Lions projects.

In Fort Dodge

FORT DODGE — Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY in the parking lot north of Brown’s Shoe Fit, 210 S. 25th St.

FORT DODGE — VFW Auxiliary is holding a Hot Beef Dinner beginning at 4:30 p.m. until gone SATURDAY at the VFW Post 1856, 518 S. 29th St. The menu is a hot beef sandwich with mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, dessert bar, coffee and lemonade for $10 per person.
