The Trolley Center at 900-920 Central Ave. has been purchased by the Jamerson Group Corp., of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, for $231,001.
The Trolley Center in downtown Fort Dodge has a new owner based in the southern United States.
Jamerson Group Corp. recently bought the commercial building in the 900 block of Central Avenue from Heartland Communications Group Inc., of Fort Dodge, for $231,001, according to online records of the Webster County Assessor’s Office.
Jamerson Group Corp. is based in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, according to the Florida Department of State. It also has an address in Conyers, Georgia,
It is a new business entity incorporated in Florida on June 13, according to that state’s Department of State. The Florida records list Frantz Duval and Gregory N. Duprevil as the principal officers of the business.
Phone numbers could not be found for Jamerson Group Corp., Duval or Duprevil.
Mayor Matt Bermich said city officials have not received any information about the new owner’s plans for the building.
The Trolley Center is located at 900-920 Central Ave. It is home to AXA Equitable Life Insurance Co. Bloomers on Central, Repeat Boutique, Thai Boxing and the Webster County Republican Party, but there are several vacant spots in the building.
The original 15,400-square-foot portion of the building was constructed in 1964. A 17,220-square-foot addition was constructed in 1978.
