Livermore man killed in crash
LIVERMORE — A 19-year-old Livermore resident was killed Monday evening when he lost control of his vehicle and rolled it several times, according to the Iowa State Patrol.
Desiman Stone Jr., 19, was driving near the county line between Kossuth and Humboldt counties in a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix shortly before 7 p.m. Monday.
According to the crash report, Stone was driving northbound on Ohio Avenue in Humboldt County when he ran the stop sign at the county line. He lost control on the gravel, rolled several times and was ejected. He was not wearing a seatbelt, the report said.
The accident remains under investigation.
The ISP was assisted by the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office, Livermore Fire Department and Kossuth County Medical Examiner.
