Fort Dodge Police say an Eagle Grove man committed sexual abuse against a child under the age of 14.

Gerson Roberto Morales Marroquin, 18, of Eagle Grove, was arrested Tuesday and charged with second-degree sexual abuse, a Class B felony; sexual exploitaiton of a minor, a Class C felony; and indecent contact with a child, an aggravated misdemeanor.

According to a press release from the FDPD, the investigation started following a report to the department on Aug. 15. The FDPD Criminal Investigations Division is continuing to follow up on this investigation. The CID was assisted by the Webster County Attorney’s Office and the Eagle Grove Police Department.
