A new corn syrup refinery at the Cargill plant in Webster County will begin shipping products to customers around the globe in mid-2024, the company announced Thursday.

The refinery is a $50 million investment in the plant located in the ag industrial park called Iowa’s Crossroads of Global Innovation.

Plans for the facility were first announced in February.
