EMMETSBURG — Emmetsburg Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast is 8 a.m. to noon SUNDAY at the Palo Alto County Fair, Emmetsburg.

CLARION — Pride in the Heartland Truck Show is SATURDAY and SUNDAY on North Main Street, Clarion. Truck parking begins at 5 p.m. Saturday. Standing Hampton will play from 8 p.m. to midnight and there will be a light show at 10 p.m., both on Saturday. On Sunday, registration is 10 a.m. to noon with judging from noon to 3 p.m. There will be a DJ from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be live and silent auctions to benefit the Clarion Volunteer Fire Department. Food and vendor trucks will be on site.

FORT DODGE — Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY in the parking lot north of Brown’s Shoe Fit, 210 S. 25th St.

FORT DODGE — Karl L. King Municipal Band Concert is 7:30 p.m. SUNDAY at the Karl L. King Band Shell in Oleson Park. There is no admission charge, courtesy of the city of Fort Dodge. Good Shepherd Lutheran Church will be selling homemade ice cream and fresh-baked cake at 6:30 p.m. Persons attending are reminded to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. No seating is provided.

FORT DODGE — A benefit for Walker Martin is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. TODAY at Northwest Bank, 10 N. 29th St. A freewill donation meal of pork sandwich, chips, cookie and drink will be served. Walker, 9-month-old son of Michael and Dani Martin, was recently diagnosed with B-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma.

FORT DODGE — Stage Door Productions presents “Shrek Jr.” at 7 p.m. TODAY and 2 and 7 p.m. SATURDAY at Fort Dodge Middle School, 800 N. 32nd St. Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children and are available at Hy-Vee or online at https://www.stagedoorfd.org/buy-tickets.
