KAMRAR — The 16th annual Kamrar’s Free Car Show is noon to 3 p.m. SUNDAY at 448 Main St., Kamrar. Registration is 9 a.m. to noon. There will be free door prizes and breakfast and lunch available.
HUMBOLDT — The Humboldt County Museum is holding an exhibition of Wedding Dresses from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. SATURDAY. Admission is $5 for adults and free for children ages 17 and under. The museum will provide light refreshments to all visitors from noon to 4 p.m. in the historic Hardy Church basement.
MANSON — Manson’s Sesquicentennial Celebration is TODAY, SATURDAY and SUNDAY in Manson. There will be a truck pull at 6 p.m. today at the fairgrounds. The parade begins at 10 a.m. Saturday followed by an all school reunion from noon to 4 p.m. and events and entertainment all day. Sunday’s events include brunch from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., 10:30 a.m. community church service and events until 4 p.m.
In Fort Dodge
FORT DODGE — Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY in the parking lot north of Brown’s Shoe Fit, 210 S. 25th St.
FORT DODGE — Karl L. King Municipal Band Concert is 7:30 p.m. SUNDAY at the Karl L. King Band Shell in Oleson Park. There is no admission charge, courtesy of the city of Fort Dodge. Good Shepherd Lutheran Church will be selling homemade ice cream and fresh-baked cake at 6:30 p.m. Persons attending are reminded to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. No seating is provided.
FORT DODGE — Lunch on Central is 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. TODAY between the Webster County Courthouse and The Messenger. The menu is grilled beef patty on a bun, pasta salad, potato chips, monster cookie and bottled water for $8.
FORT DODGE — Family Summer Safety event is 3 to 5 p.m. SATURDAY at Walmart, 3036 First Ave. S. The event will be outside near the automotive area. Local law enforcement and volunteers will be on hand for vehicle safety checks, child car seat checks and injury prevention tips. FORT DODGE — IGNITE Vendor Fair is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. SATURDAY at the Fort Museum Opera House, One Museum Road. The event is open to the public.
