EMMETSBURG — First United Methodist Church Evening Ladies Fellowship Circle, Emmetsburg, is holding a Garage Sale and Bake Sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. TODAY and 8 a.m. to noon SATURDAY at the Family Life Center, 711 Broadway, Emmetsburg.

EMMETSBURG — The Palo Alto Garden Club Plant Sale is 8 to 11 a.m. SATURDAY at the Harrison Park Shelter House, Emmetsburg.

In Fort Dodge

FORT DODGE — Make It OK Day walk around the City Square is noon to 12:30 p.m. TODAY. May is Mental Health Awareness Month and to show your support take a few laps around the Fort Dodge City Square. Those attending are asked to wear green which is the color for mental health. Community Health Center’s Behavioral Health staff will be present to pass out mental health affirmations. The event is free and open to anyone who would like to attend.

FORT DODGE — Figure 8 Races are 7 p.m. SATURDAY at the Webster County Fairgrounds, 22770 Old Hwy. 169. Grandstand admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 3-12. Pit fees are $30 for car and driver or $20 for a pit pass, must be 16 or older to be in the pits. No food or drink is allowed in the gate. Food and drinks will be available.

FORT DODGE — Kids to Park Day Scavenger Hunt begins TODAY and ends SUNDAY evening. The event is free and there is no pre-registration required. Scorecards are due before 11 a.m. Monday to be guaranteed for prize entry. Email or scan a picture of your scorecard to cbruno@fortdodgeiowa.org.
