The first baby born at UnityPoint Health — Trinity Regional Medical Center in 2022 was Eli Malachi Naylor. He was born Jan. 3, 2022, to mom, Samara Naylor at 8:33 a.m., weighing 8 pounds 11 3/4 ounces and measuring 20 inches long. The crochet blanket was handmade by Trinity Birth Center nurse Nicole Little and the outfit was made by nurse Becky Yunginger.
