Odin Small, 8, of Fort Dodge, was one of the first younger kids to receive a pediatric dose of the COVID-19 vaccine after the FDA approved the two-dose series of Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine for children aged 5 to 11 years old.

Webster County Health Department will host a drive-thru clinic on Wednesday from 3:30-6:30 p.m. at Iowa Central’s East Campus, 2031 Quail Avenue. Children ages 5-18 are eligible to attend and will receive a Pfizer dose. All children receiving the vaccine must wait 15 minutes before leaving. All children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Appointments for Wednesday’s clinic are required. To make an appointment, call 515-573-4107 during business hours (8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.).
