CLARION — Wright County 4-H Fall Festival is 1 to 4 p.m. SUNDAY in Gazebo Park, Clarion. There will be a cake walk, crafts, games and more. The event is open to the public.

FONDA — The Fonda Arts Center presents “Vintage Images Revisited” at 2 p.m. SUNDAY at the center. Vintage fashions and other items assembled by the Arts Center for the town’s 150th celebration will be on display. Cheri Wernimont will share the reasons that prompted the fashion trends. Old songs of the times will be performed by Larry Heschke. Admission and refreshments are free, donations are appreciated.

EMMETSBURG — Main Street Community Theatre presents “Steel Magnolias” at 7:30 p.m. TODAY and SATURDAY and 2 p.m. SUNDAY at the Performance Center, Emmetsburg. Tickets may be purchased online for $10 at www.mainstreetcommunitytheatre.com. There will be socially distant seating and audience will be masked.

EMMETSBURG — A National Archery in the School Program fundraiser for the Emmetsburg Elite Archery Team is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. SUNDAY at the Archery Stop and Range, 2117 Main St. There will be a meal of smoked meat with sides and drink for $10 and silent auction. Freewill donations are welcome.

EMMETSBURG — The annual 4-H Penny Carnival is 3 to 4:30 p.m. SUNDAY in the 4-H Exhibit Building at the Palo Alto County Fairgrounds, Emmetsburg. 4-H Clubs will provide various carnival games for all ages, including prizes for all participating. The 4-H County Council members will provide a concession stand.

FORT DODGE — St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and Grace Lutheran Church are holding an animal blessing at 2 p.m. SUNDAY in the St. Mark’s parking lot, 1007 First Ave. S. Bring your furry or feathered friends on their leashes or in their cages to be blessed. In the event of rain, the event will be held Oct. 10.

FORT DODGE — Holy Trinity Parish spaghetti dinner is 4:30 to 7 p.m. SUNDAY at Corpus Christi Center, 405 N. Eighth St. The dinner will be drive-thru only. Tickets are $10 per person.

FORT DODGE — Downtown Country Jam is SATURDAY in historic downtown Fort Dodge. Gates open at 5 p.m. Randy Houser with special guest Cory Waller and The Wicked Things plus Brad Morgan will perform. Brad Morgan will take the stage at 5:30 p.m. with Cory Waller and The Wicked Things performing at 6:45 p.m. Randy Houser will perform at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 per person at the gate.

FORT DODGE — The St. Edmond Music Department is holding its second Fine Arts Showcase at 7 p.m. SATURDAY and 3 p.m. SUNDAY in the St. Edmond School auditorium, 501 N. 22nd St. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students.

FORT DODGE — Cruise to the Woods cruise and car show begins at 8 a.m. SUNDAY at Lizard Creek Ranch, 1726 Johnson Ave.

FORT DODGE — Walk to End Alzheimer’s is 8 a.m. SATURDAY at Fort Dodge Middle School, 800 N. 32nd St. There will be a ceremony at 9 a.m. with the walk beginning at 9:30 a.m.

FORT DODGE — All Iowa Figure 8 Races are 7 p.m. TODAY and 6 p.m. SATURDAY at the Webster County Fairgrounds, 22770 Old Highway 169. Grandstand admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 5 to 12 years. Driver admission is $30 for day pass and $10 for LCQ (CONSI). Pit pass is $25.

FORT DODGE — Elias Netz will perform from 3 to 5 p.m. SATURDAY at ShinyTop Brewing, 520 Central Ave.

FORT DODGE — Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY behind Sparkle Car Wash, 319 S. 25th St., on the west side of Crossroads Mall.
