One person was taken to the hospital following a head-on collision between a semi truck and a sedan in Webster County on Tuesday afternoon. According to Webster County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Mike Kenyon, a red Chevrolet Impala was traveling eastbound on 120th Street near Vasse Avenue when the car crossed the center line, colliding with a semi truck that was traveling westbound around 3:50 p.m. The driver of the car, who was not identified by Kenyon, was taken by Fort Dodge Fire Rescue ambulance to UnityPoint Health - Trinity Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The accident remains under investigation. Also on scene were the Iowa State Patrol, Iowa Department of Transportation and Badger FIre Department.
