Two vehicles collided on U.S. Highway 169 about a mile north of the Best Western Starlite Village Inn and Suites in Fort Dodge on Monday afternoon. Initial investigation found that construction equipment on a trailer broke loose from the tie-down straps and fell off the trailer. Minor injuries were reported but no one was transported to the hospital.
