EMMETSBURG — Pedal with Pete Bike Ride for Cerebral Palsy begins at 1:30 p.m. SUNDAY at The Shores at Five Island, Emmetsburg.

MANSON — Manson Lions Club and Manson Police Department are holding the 2021 Manson Bike Rodeo from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY at the Manson High School east parking lot. A lunch of hot dogs, chips and a drink will be served at the conclusion of the rodeo. Skill practices will include how to repair your bike, street sign knowledge, how to cross a railroad crossing, walking bikes when on Main Street, balancing your bike, bike sprint, slowest balancer, hand signals, how a stop light works and a ride throughout town practicing the skills learned throughout the day. Parents are encouraged to take part in the ride at the end of the day.

WEBSTER CITY — The 35th annual Doodle Bug Reunion is TODAY and SATURDAY at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds, Webster City. Admission is free.

CLARION — St. John’s Catholic Church, Clarion, is holding a Swiss Steak Dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. SUNDAY at the church. Carry-out only. Tickets are $12 and may be purchased at the church.

OTHO — The Otho Betterment Committee is holding its Fifth annual Chili Cook-off and Bloody Mary contest SATURDAY at Otho City Park. The Bloody Mary public tasting is 1 to 2 p.m. for $5. Chili public tasting is 2 to 4 p.m. Cost for a bowl and spoon is $5. There will be kids activities, a bounce house, bake sale, concessions, 50/50 raffle, grill raffle, bat raffle and silent auction. A coed slow pitch softball tournament and bags tournament will be played as a fundraiser for local youth girls fast pitch softball.

FORT DODGE — Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY behind Sparkle Car Wash, 319 S. 25th St., on the west side of Crossroads Mall.

FORT DODGE — Soldier Creek Winery, 1584 Paragon Ave., is holding Vineyard Vibrations from 6 to 8 p.m. TODAY. Free live music will be provided by Adam Girard. Food will be available for purchase.

FORT DODGE — Soldier Creek Winery, 1584 Paragon Ave., is holding Good “Vine”brations from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. SATURDAY. There will be grape stomp tournament, vineyard hayrides, open air market, grape romp (fun run/walk) and live music. Admission is free.

FORT DODGE — Soldier Creek Winery, 1584 Paragon Ave., is holding Bingo from 3 to 5 p.m. SUNDAY. Those attending will receive one bingo card for each non-perishable food item donation. All food items received will be donated to Upper Des Moines Opportunity food pantry. There will be prizes for winners.

FORT DODGE — Fort Dodge Baseball Association Second annual Golf Outing is SATURDAY at Lakeside Golf Course, 1417 Nelson Ave. Sign-in begins at 8 a.m. with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Cost is $200 per four person team. Pre-register by Sept. 17 at fdba.golf@gmail.com to guarantee a spot. The fundraiser will support player scholarships, new equipment and building improvements.

FORT DODGE — The Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles will hold a Garage Sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. TODAY and SATURDAY at 1018 First Ave. N. Proceeds go to the charities of the organization and to the building maintenance fund. Please wear a mask and abide by social distancing.

FORT DODGE — Freedom Pointe of Greater Webster County Friendship Center is holding a Mental Health Carnival from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. SATURDAY at First Avenue North and Ninth Street. There will be games, prizes, snacks, music, special guests and good, clean family fun. There will be an evening meal prepared by Chef Lori. Freewill donations will be accepted.
