St. Edmond Catholic School announces creation of new fund

-Submitted photo
The St. Edmond Catholic School Development Board announced on Saturday that a new endowed fund has been created honoring former St. Edmond President the Rev. Patrick Walsh and retiring Director of Development Tom Miklo. The fund, endowed with a gift of $500,000, will be a perpetual fund named after these two men who were instrumental in establishing the Development Office and growing the foundation's assets. It is the Board’s hope that other supporters will contribute to this fund over time. The Fund has already received a matching gift offer, that if it can raise $500,000 another donor will add $200,000 to the fund. Walsh was the president of St. Edmond from 1991-2003. Miklo, St. Edmond Class of 1973, was the director of development for 28 years (1993-2021). They are pictured with some of the current and past Development Board members at a special Mass of Recognition for the duo.
