Police investigate shots fired on North 10th Street

A parked vehicle was hit with multiple gunshots early Thursday morning, according to the Fort Dodge Police Department.

No injuries were reported, including to a person who was sitting inside of the vehicle, police reported.

The vehicle was parked near the 200 block of North 10th Street. Several shots were fired in that area, according to police. The incident was reported at 2:35 a.m.

As officers were responding to the area, several juveniles were located and identified as possibly being connected to this incident.

The Fort Dodge Police Department is continuing to investigate.

Police encourage anyone who may have seen or heard anything related to this incident to contact the Police Department.

With all investigations, any video evidence is essential to resolving an incident and the police ask that anyone with video footage in the area contact them.
