Defendant Eric Hall takes the witness stand as the defense's only witness for testimony on Thursday. It took a Webster County jury just two hours to return with a guilty verdict, convicting Hall of first-degree murder.

Fort Dodge Correctional Facility inmate Eric T. Hall, 45, has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the June 2020 murder of fellow FDCF inmate Thomas Daleske.

Hall was convicted by a Webster County jury of first-degree murder on May 18. His sentencing hearing was Friday morning.
