GOWRIE — Freedom 5K Run/Walk is MONDAY in Gowrie. Packet pickup is from 6:30 to 7:15 a.m. at the high school football field. The run/walk starts at 7:30 a.m. Registration is $25 and is available the day of the event.
HUMBOLDT — Humboldt Flea Market is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. SATURDAY and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. SUNDAY at 2013 220th St., Humboldt. Admission and parking are free.
LAKE VIEW — Stone Pier Summer Concert series presents The Ghost of Paul Revere with Mountain Deer Revival at 5 p.m. SATURDAY at Black Hawk Lake. There is no admission charge. Concert-goers are allowed to bring food and beverages to the picnic-style performances, food is available for sale with all proceeds directly benefiting the concert series.
EMMETSBURG — Fun on the Fourth is SATURDAY and SUNDAY at Soper Park, Emmetsburg. Fireworks will be at dusk over Five Island Lake on Sunday.

FORT DODGE — Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY behind Sparkle Car Wash, 319 S. 25th St., on the west side of Crossroads Mall.
FORT DODGE — Shellabration presents Cheap Trick with special guest 38 Special plus Saucy Jack TODAY at the Rogers Sports Complex, 1628 Nelson Ave. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. Saucy Jack will perform from 6 to 7 p.m., 38 Special from 7:30 to 8:45 p.m. and Cheap Trick from 9:30 to 11 p.m. Tickets are $45 at the gate.
FORT DODGE — Karl L. King Municipal Band Concert is 7:30 p.m. SUNDAY at the Karl L. King Band Shell in Oleson Park. There is no admission charge, courtesy of the city of Fort Dodge. Persons attending are reminded to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets and socially distance as much as possible. No seating is provided.
FORT DODGE – A hip-hop concert will begin at 6 p.m. TODAY at Fort Frenzy, 3232 First Ave. S. Jehry Robinson is the headliner. Attendees can play games and mingle with the artists from 3 to 5 p.m.
