DAYTON — The Dayton Fire Department presents The Nadas at 8 p.m. SATURDAY at Dayton Oak Park. Tickets are $35 at the gate. Parking is free.

BADGER — Badger Fire & Rescue Fireman’s Ball is 5 p.m. to midnight SATURDAY at the Badger Fire Station. A pulled pork dinner will be served from 5 to 7:30 p.m. with a drive-thru option available, contact Dave at 971-2909. Casey Muessigmann will perform from 8 p.m. to midnight. Tickets are $15 at the gate.

EMMETSBURG — Emmetsburg Kiwanis is holding a pancake breakfast fundraiser from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. SUNDAY at the Emmetsburg VFW for the Five Island Yellow Bass Bash. Tickets for adults and children over age 5 are $7 and children under age 5 are $3.

WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library, Webster City, is holding Baby Time Storytime from 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. SATURDAY outside the library. The storytime is for babies three to 24 months old.

FORT DODGE — River Hops Brewing, 1014 Central Ave., is holding Hops & Shops June Market from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. SATURDAY. This is a family friendly vendor market and food truck.

FORT DODGE — Main Street Fort Dodge is holding Lunch on the Square from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. TODAY at City Square Park, 424 Central Ave. The menu is pulled chicken sandwiches, potato salad, chips, dessert and water for $6. Clint Riedel will provide live entertainment.

FORT DODGE — Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY behind Sparkle Car Wash, 319 S. 25th St., on the west side of Crossroads Mall.

FORT DODGE — Figure 8 Races are 7 p.m. SATURDAY at the Webster County Fairgrounds, 22770 Old Hwy. 169. Grandstand admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 3-12. Pit fees are $30 for car and driver or $20 for a pit pass, must be 16 or older to be in the pits. No food or drink is allowed in the gate.

FORT DODGE — Soldier Creek Winery, 1584 Paragon Ave., is holding Vineyard Vibrations from 6 to 8 p.m. TODAY. Free live music will be provided by Lojo Russo. Food will be available for purchase.

FORT DODGE — Soldier Creek Winery, 1584 Paragon Ave., is holding bingo from 3 to 5 p.m. SUNDAY. Those attending will receive one bingo card for each non-perishable food item donation. All food items received will be donated to Upper Des Moines Opportunity food pantry. There will be prizes for winners.

FORT DODGE — The Karl L. King Municipal Band Concert is 7:30 p.m. SUNDAY at the Karl L. King Memorial Park located downtown at the City Square. Audience members can bring lawn chairs and sit socially distanced in the park, or they can remain in their cars to listen and park around three sides of the square and then honk their car horns as applause. There will be no ice cream social provided during June and there will be no public restrooms available at any time during the evening.

FORT DODGE — The Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles will hold a garage sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. TODAY and SATURDAY at 1018 First Ave. N. Proceeds go to the charities of the organization and to the building maintenance fund. Please wear a mask and abide by social distancing.

FORT DODGE — Holy Trinity Parish will hold its second annual Men’s Summit from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on SUNDAY at the parking lot east of St Edmond Catholic School. There will be speakers about the men’s ministries. The menu includes burgers, brats and beer. Games will include tomahawk throwing.

FORT DODGE — The Fort Dodge Federated Garden Club will hold its annual Garden Show from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. SATURDAY and noon to 4 p.m. SUNDAY at the Crossroads Mall. The theme is “Fabulous 50s.” The even is free and open to the public.
