ROCKWELL CITY — Courtney Graffunder’s Memorial Figure 8 Races are 7 p.m. SATURDAY at the Calhoun County Expo, Rockwell City.

CALLENDER — Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Callender, is holding a garage sale from 4 to 8 p.m. TODAY and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. SATURDAY at the church, west door. Masks are optional and no luncheon will be served.

LEHIGH — Lehigh United Methodist Church, will hold a Second Sunday Supper from 5 to 7 p.m. SUNDAY at the church. The menu is choice of walking taco or baked potato bar plus dessert. Those attending may dine in the basement, carry out or drive up. If driving up, it is recommended to call 359-2329 a few minutes before arrival so the order can be prepared. A freewill donation will be accepted.

EMMETSBURG — Farmer’s Market on 10th Street is 8 a.m. to noon SATURDAY in Emmetsburg.

In Fort Dodge

FORT DODGE — Oakland Cemetery Walk will have a stroll through the cemetery at 7 p.m. TODAY. Those attending should park at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1436 21st Ave. N. and a DART bus will take participants to the cemetery. The bus will leave at 6:45 p.m. There will be a freewill donation. Guides will take you through the cemetery.

FORT DODGE — Oakland Cemetery Walk is 2 p.m. SUNDAY at Decker Auditorium on the Iowa Central Community College campus. Admission is $7 and masks are required.

FORT DODGE — Courtney Graffunder’s Memorial Figure 8 Races are 2 p.m. SUNDAY at the Webster County Fairgrounds, 22770 Old Highway 169. Grandstand admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 3-12. Pit fees are $30 for car and driver or $20 for a pit pass, must be 16 or older to be in the pits. No food or drink is allowed in the gate.

FORT DODGE — The Karl L. King Municipal Band Concert is 7:30 p.m. SUNDAY at the Karl L. King Memorial Park located downtown at the City Square. The King Band Board has decided to relocate these concerts, at least during June, to allow band members to distance themselves more from each other in front of the library during this time of caution regarding COVID-19. Audience members can bring lawn chairs and sit socially distanced in the park, or they can remain in their cars to listen and park around three sides of the square and then honk their car horns as applause. There will be no ice cream social provided during June and there will be no public restrooms available at any time during the evening.

FORT DODGE — Soldier Creek Winery, 1584 Paragon Ave., is holding Vineyard Vibrations from 6 to 8 p.m. TODAY. Free live music will be provided by Kris Karr Band. Food will be available for purchase.

FORT DODGE — Soldier Creek Winery, 1584 Paragon Ave., is holding bingo from 3 to 5 p.m. SUNDAY. Those attending will receive one bingo card for each non-perishable food item donation. All food items received will be donated to Upper Des Moines Opportunity food pantry. There will be prizes for winners.

FORT DODGE — Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY behind Sparkle Car Wash, 319 S. 25th St., on the west side of Crossroads Mall.

FORT DODGE — The Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles will hold a garage sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. TODAY and SATURDAY at 1018 First Ave. N. Proceeds go to the charities of the organization and to the building maintenance fund. Please wear a mask and abide by social distancing.
