Bassett sentenced to 50 years
Webster City man Zackery Bassett has been sentenced to a maximum of 50 years in prison for his second-degree murder conviction of the 2018 death of his girlfriend, Andrea Sokolowski. Bassett must serve at least 70% of his sentence before he can be eligible for parole. See tomorrow’s issue of The Messenger for a full story.
