Students bring May baskets

-Submitted photo
The Transition Alliance Program and Shawn Sande’s classes at Fort Dodge Senior High recently came together to create more than 120 May Day baskets for the residents and staff at the Villa Care Center. This was a community service project that the students thought might bring a smile to someone else’s day. Besides this project, the students along with TAP also created a variety of decorations at Valentine’s Day for residents to display on their doors to bring color into their world. Pictured from left to right: Baylee Willson, Gunner Chada, Miguel Wildt, two employees from the Villa Care Center, Abagail Brockman and Stephen Sargent. Other participants not pictured are TAP coordinators Kim Johnson and Mary Kenny; students Addison Sheeley, Aryssa Lumsden, Vinnie McElduff, Curtis Sundermeyer, Ariah Ross, Ryleigh Hruska; and teacher Shawn Sande.
