Trooper Paul Gardner, of the Iowa State Patrol, walks on scene of a two-vehicle crash Tuesday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 169 and 170th Street. According to Gardner, Christopher Glaser, of Badger, was driving a Chevrolet Aveo westbound as he came up to the stop sign. At the same time, two vehicles were traveling northbound. The first vehicle was turning to go east, while the second vehicle, driven by Sandra Robinson, of Ankeny, continued northbound. Glaser pulled out and was hit broadside by the Ford Edge driven by Robinson. The crash was reported at about 11:30 a.m. Glaser suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene before being released. Robinson, along with Brandi Mann, of Des Moines, a passenger in the Ford Edge, were both transported to UnityPoint Health — Trinity Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Glaser was cited for failure to yield at a stop sign. The Fort Dodge Fire Department, Fort Dodge Police Department and Webster County sheriff’s deputies, responded.
