EAGLE GROVE — The Wright County Agri-Business Park is ready for potential companies to move in.

Construction of water, sewer, gas, electric, fiber and roads was recently completed, Cindy Litwiller, Wright County economic development director, reported.

“We just finished it up,” Litwiller said. “It’s been a long process but we now have all the infrastructure in place, so we are looking to move forward.”

The park is located near Prestage Foods of Iowa, south of Eagle Grove. It is situated on 80 acres of land near the intersection of Iowa Highway 17 and 320th Street. The county purchased those acres in January 2019.

One company that is locating there is Ennis Transportation Services.

Ennis Transportation is a newly formed company under the umbrella of Ennis Corporation, a trucking company headquartered in Clarion.

Litwiller said Ennis has begun construction on their facility.

The company will primarily wash out the inside of reefer trailers.

Ennis intends to build a large refrigerated washout facility and trailer repair facility within the park.
