Farm News Ag Show is canceled

The 19th annual Farm News Ag Show has become a victim of COVID-19.

The show set for Dec. 9-10 at the Webster County Fairgrounds has been canceled in response to new statewide measures intended to curb the spread of the virus.

”With Gov. Reynolds announcing enhanced public health measures, we are canceling the 2020 Farm News Ag Show,” said Terry Christensen, the publisher of Farm News and The Messenger.

”We feel strongly about the public’s safety and we understand the need to limit gatherings,” he added. ”Although disappointed we won’t see the vendors and attendees this year, we are already gearing up for the best show ever in 2021.”

Reynolds on Monday announced new directives to fight COVID-19. Her directives limited indoor gatherings to 15 people, which led to the cancellation of of the Farm News Ag Show.
