Fort Dodge firefighters work the scene of a garage fire Tuesday night at 1328 S. 27th St. The fire was reported at about 10:03 p.m. Smoke billowed out of the east side of the structure and filled the neighborhood, impacting visibility in the area. No injuries were immediately reported. The cause and origin of the fire remained under investigation as of press time. The listed property owners are Gerald and Lori Schliske, according to the Webster County Assessor’s page. The Fort Dodge Police Department was also on scene.
