2 taken to hospital after brawl at Amigos

Fort Dodge police are investigating after a brawl unfolded at Amigos Bar early Thursday morning, resulting in two people suffering laceration injuries.
Police were called to Amigos at 1:21 a.m. for a report of a large number of people fighting inside the establishment.
Once on scene, officers found a female receiving medical treatment from others for lacerations suffered during the altercation. A male was also found with a laceration, police reported.
Two people were transported from the bar by the Fort Dodge Fire Department to UnityPoint Health – Trinity Regional Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The Webster County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene.
According to police, a female had brandished a knife during the encounter, which resulted in the injuries suffered by the male and female.
