According to a release from the FDPD, at approximately 2:15 a.m. on Sunday, the Webster County Telecommunications Center was informed that an 18-year-old female had arrived at UnityPoint Health — Trinity Regional Medical Center with “at least one gunshot wound.”

Officers said the victim was transported to TRMC by private vehicle. She sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a Des Moines hospital for further treatment.
