How long have you been in law enforcement?

I have been in law enforcement for 7.5 years.

What other law enforcement positions/departments have you served in?

I worked for the Jefferson Police Department for six years prior to coming to Webster County.

What’s an interesting fact about you that some might not know?

I am 100% left handed … and no, I do not cross draw my handgun as some people have asked me (no joke).

What’s the most memorable incident you’ve responded to?

Any calls that have involved death from suicide or car accidents. Thankfully those are few and far in between, but unfortunately will stay with me.

What’s the best part of your day?

Aside from getting home safely, I enjoy the camaraderie with my co-workers/friends.

What gives you the most satisfaction in your job?

Whenever I walk away from a call and someone thanks me for my assistance.

What’s the toughest part about your job?

Working on holidays or weekends when I cannot be with my friends and family.
