The driver of a white Chevrolet Silverado was transported to UnityPoint Health - Trinity Regional Medical Center Sunday evening around 5:30 p.m. following a single vehicle accident on 360th Street, just west of Kansas Avenue near Harcourt. According to Gowrie Police Department officer John Garretson, the truck was traveling westbound on 360th Street when it left the roadway for “reasons yet unknown.” The truck went into the ditch, going airborne over a field drive and landing in the north side ditch. The driver, who was not identified by authorities, was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. The incident remains under investigation. The Webster County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Gowrie PD, Dayton Police Department, Dayton Emergency Medical Services and Fort Dodge Fire Rescue.
