In Fort Dodge

FORT DODGE — Fort Dodge Ford Toyota — Ja-Mar Cruise is 5 to 7 p.m. TODAY at Fort Dodge Ford Toyota parking lot, 2723 Fifth Ave. S. There will be cars, motorcycles, food vendors, music and outdoor family fun.

FORT DODGE — The Tuff-N-Nuff Miniature Rodeo is 6 p.m. SATURDAY and 10 a.m. SUNDAY at the Webster County Fairgrounds, 22770 Old Highway 169.

FORT DODGE — Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY in the northwest corner of the Crossroads Mall parking lot.

FORT DODGE — Fireworks will start around 10 p.m. TODAY at Sports Park Raceway. The show should last around 15 minutes.

Around the area

SAC CITY — Sac City Chautauqua Days are TODAY, SATURDAY and SUNDAY in Sac City. Today you can Scoop the Loop on Main Street from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday’s events include a color run, farmer’s market, car show, parade and fireworks. On Sunday, the Sac City Museum will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. Please practice social distancing.

OTHO — The Otho Fourth of July parade will begin at 1:30 p.m. SATURDAY. Fireworks will begin at dusk.

GOWRIE — The parade will begin at 10 a.m. SATURDAY. The route begins at the intersection of Church and Market streets, traveling west to County Road, north one block, east past Pearl Valley Rehabilition and Nursing Home, before reaching the GYC Staking Rink. There will be fireworks at dusk.

The golf tournament at the Gowrie Municipal Golf Course has tee times at 7 and 11 a.m. Tickets are $30 per person. Call 515-352-3320 for more information.

There will be a craft show in the city park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Gowrie Firemen’s Pancakes at the Fire Station will be served from 7 to 9:30 a.m. There will be a street dance at 7 p.m. in front of Ole Town Pub on Market Street.
