Driver escapes injury in rollover south of Fort Dodge

The driver of this pickup truck escaped serious injury after it went into the median along U.S. Highway 20 and rolled over several times Sunday night. The crash happened about 8:50 p.m. between Webster County Road P59 and Madison Avenue. Webster County Deputy Sheriff Brett Knippel said the truck was eastbound when the driver swerved. The truck went into the median and rolled over four to five times, he said. Knippel said the driver was wearing a seatbelt. She was checked at the scene by paramedics and declined to go to the hospital. Firefighters from Fort Dodge and Otho also responded to the crash.
