Tornado watch in place for Webster County

A tornado watch from the National Weather Service has been issued for Webster County, in effect until Tuesday at 8 p.m.

The watch covers much of Central and Northwest Iowa.

Primary threats include scattered tornadoes, damaging wind gusts up to 70 mph and isolated large hail.

There’s a 40% probability of two or more tornadoes, according to the NWS.
