Fort Dodge firefighters run a hose line to the back of a house west of Fort Dodge that caught fire Thursday night. Firefighters from several fire departments were on scene to battle the blaze. The fire was reported at 8:53 p.m. at 1846 200th Street. The glow of the flames could be seen from Iowa Highway 7, which is about a mile north of the fire site. No serious injuries were reported Thursday night. The listed property owners are Susan and Nicholas McDonald according to the Webster County Assessors office. The cause of the fire remained under investigation at press time.
