Fire Marshal Dennis Feldmann and firefighter/EMT Dan Summers unpack the lunch brought by Buford’s Steakhouse on Wednesday. The Buford’s staff donated lunch for the Fort Dodge Fire Department as a way to say “Thank you” during this COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak. On Tuesday, another business donated lunch to the fire station, Fort Dodge Fire Chief Steve Hergenreter said. “That was two days in a row and we’re very grateful when people do that,” Hergenreter said. “We get so much support from our citizens and our businesses in the community. And it keeps us from having to go out to the grocery story and buy groceries to cook with. It’s a blessing to have that support from people.”
