A Fort Dodge man has been arrested in connection to an armed robbery of Green State Credit Union, 1207 Central Ave., reported at 9:32 this morning.

Suspect Ted Hammersley, 29, was arrested directly outside the bank. He is charged with first-degree robbery, a Class B felony; going armed with intent, a Class D felony; assault while participating in a felony, a Class D felony; and carrying weapons, an aggravated misdemeanor.

Witnesses relayed to police that the suspect displayed a knife inside, Fort Dodge Police Department said in a statement. No injuries occurred.
