One injured in Tuesday morning crash
A Chevrolet Malibu and Honda CR-V collided on U.S. Highway 169 north of Fort Dodge Tuesday morning around 10:50 a.m. The Malibu ran into the back of the CR-V as the CR-V started to make a turn. Webster County Sheriff Jim Stubbs said Malibu driver Austin Hill was cited for following too closely. The driver of the CR-V, Jamie Geopfert, was transported by ambulance to UnityPoint Health — Trinity Regional Medical Center for non-life threatening complaints. The Malibu’s front driver side and the CR-V’s rear passenger side were damaged.
