FORT DODGE — Webster County Fair Committee presents Dueling Pianos of Andy Anderson and Mike Leeds SATURDAY at the Webster County Fairgrounds, 22770 Old Highway 169. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Showtime is 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. An hors d’oeuvres buffet will be served from 6:30 to 9 p.m. A cash bar will be available. Tickets are $30 per person. Proceeds go toward the 2020 Webster County Fair. Reserve tickets by calling 408-3764.

FORT DODGE — A self-defense program for women 13 years and older is 8 to 9 a.m. SATURDAY at Faiferlick Martial Arts, 567 S. 25th St. This program will cover the most common threats facing women. Participants will learn some simple and effective techniques using awareness, leverage and timing to defend yourself and escape from seemingly impossible situations. No experience is necessary. Participants should wear comfortable workout attire. Preregistration is required by emailing justin.faiferlick@gmail.com. The program is free.

FORT DODGE — Soldier Creek Winery, 1584 Paragon Ave., is holding Vineyard Vibrations from 6 to 8 p.m. TODAY. Free live music will be provided by Kris Karr. Food will be available for purchase.

FORT DODGE — Blanden Memorial Art Museum, 920 Third Ave. S., is holding Youth Art Classes “Delightful, Deliciously Decorated Sculptural Cupcakes” SATURDAY. Class for 6 to 10 year olds is 10 a.m. to noon and class for 11 to 16 year olds is 1 to 3 p.m. There is a limit of 12 students in each session. Cost is $10 for members and $15 for non-members.

FORT DODGE — The Gabriel Alves Jazz Trio will perform from 7 to 9 p.m. SATURDAY at River Hops Brewing, 1014 Central Ave.

MOORLAND — Webster County Conservation Department and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources are holding a Trout Stocking and Fishing Clinic at 11 a.m. SATURDAY at the Moorland Park, Moorland. This is a good opportunity for taking kids or novice anglers fishing as trout tend to bite readily after they are stocked. Dress warmly, bring a youngster fishing and enjoy some fun on the ice. Beginners will learn about ice safety, cold weather clothing, fishing basics and possibly fish cleaning. Staff will be available to assist beginners.

WEBSTER CITY — The Kendall Young Library, Webster City, will present the movie “Smallfoot” from 10:30 a.m. to noon SATURDAY at the library.

POMEROY — Jamtronica artist Freekbass will perform at 8 p.m. TODAY at Bryon’s in Pomeroy.

Update: The Otho UMC soup supper is rescheduled to Jan. 25 due to winter weather.

OTHO — Otho United Methodist Church annual Soup Supper is 4:30 to 7 p.m. SATURDAY at the church. Chili, chicken noodle, vegetable beef, cheesy potato soups, relish bars and drink will be served for a freewill offering.
