I am a music major

Why did you choose to attend Iowa Central?

I chose Iowa Central because it is an affordable college and I was able to be involved in specific areas that the college offered.

What classes are you enrolled in this semester?

I am in Math for Liberal Arts, Comp I, Concert Band, Music Theory, Sight Singing/Ear Training, and Marching Band/Pep Band.

Are you involved in any extracurricular activities? If so, what?

I am also involved with the Iowa Central Men’s Soccer Team.

What is your favorite class and why?

My favorite class has to be Concert Band because I still get to play my trumpet while being in a sport.

Ford v Ferarri

What advice would you give a senior in high school?

Work hard and don’t wait until the last minute to finish whatever it is that is going to help you be successful.

What has been your favorite moment at Iowa Central so far?

My favorite moment at Iowa Central is making a lot of new friends with different interests, such as my friends in soccer and my friends in the music department.

Future plans?

I plan to transfer after my two years at Iowa Central to Buena Vista University to study Music Production.
