Will Lopes is getting ready to put on another concert, and this time it’s personal.

Lopes, the director of vocal music at Iowa Central Community College in his professional life, will be presenting “Let Your Light Shine” Sunday.

The show starts at 6:30 p.m. at Prairie Lakes Church, 200 Ave. O in Fort Dodge.

Lopes has enlisted several talented local musicians for the evening.

“The concert will be featuring Dean Davis on drums, Alex Trevino on bass and Kirsten Utley on keyboard,” Lopes said.

The musicians will have some company.

“Teressa and Joe Jackson will be joining us as storytellers and vocalists,” he said.

Lopes said that there will also be a small children’s ensemble performing during the show.

He will also have additional vocal work by Kia and Scott Deuel, Jaci Steib, Amanda Stone-Janssen and Nelly Lopes.

Admission to the concert is free with a freewill offering accepted.
