Webster City man reported missing

Police say Wynkoop hasn’t been seen since Sunday

WEBSTER CITY — Webster City police are seeking information and the public’s help in locating a Webster City man who has been reported missing.

Police officials said Jay Dee Wynkoop, 38, was reported missing on Monday. He was last seen leaving his residence in Webster City on Sunday around 1 p.m. His vehicle was later located outside of Webster City, but officials said there has been no word from Wynkoop.

Wynkoop has brown hair and a beard. He is described as being 5 feet 8 inches tall, and was last seen wearing Ariat blue jeans, a black Carhartt hoodie, black Adidas ball cap and brown leather work boots with steel toes.
