A Webster County sheriff’s deputy looks inside a Ford F150 pickup truck Saturday afternoon. The driver of the truck suffered serious injuries after losing control of the vehicle around a curve between 295th Street and Garfield Avenue, according to Trooper Justin Parman, of the Iowa State Patrol. The driver of the truck hit the gravel, went off road and struck a directional sign before driving back on the road heading north. The truck then rolled several times before coming to rest on its top on the west side of the road, according to Parman. The driver, who was not identified Saturday, was transported by ambulance to UnityPoint Health — Trinity Regional Medical Center. A passenger in the truck was treated by paramedics on scene, but was not transported. The Iowa State Patrol, Webster County sheriff’s deputies, Fort Dodge Fire Department, Gowrie Volunteer Fire Department, and Callender Volunteer Fire Department responded. The crash remains under investigation.
