The primary election for an at-large seat on the Fort Dodge City Council is on Tuesday.

The candidates are Councilman Neven Conrad, Eugene Newsome and Jim Underwood. Conrad is seeking a second four-year term.

The top two vote-getters will advance to the Nov. 5 general election.

The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. A list of polling places and a map showing their location is on Page 2A of today’s edition of The Messenger.

There are three at-large seats on the seven-member council, but only one is to be filled in this year’s election.
