Absentee voting begins at Webster County Auditor’s Office

Webster County Auditor and Commissioner of Elections Doreen Pliner has announced that absentee ballots for the Nov. 5, 2019 City/School Election are available to be voted in the Webster County Courthouse.

Absentee ballots may be cast in the Webster County Courthouse at 701 Central Ave., during regular office hours from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, through Nov. 4.

Mailed absentee ballots must be requested in writing. Forms are available at the Webster County Courthouse in the second Floor Auditor’s Office, on the Webster County Web site at www.webstercountyia.org and at the Iowa Secretary of State’s Web site at www.sos.state.ia.us.

All requests for ballots to be mailed must be received by the Webster County Auditor’s Office by 5 p.m. on Oct. 25. Ballots returned to the Auditor’s Office through mail must be returned and postmarked by midnight on Nov. 4.
