A 17-year-old male has died from an apparent accidental shooting, according to Capt. Ryan Gruenberg, of the Fort Dodge Police Department.
The shooting was reported at 721 N. Eighth St. at about 12:45 p.m.
The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation has been called in to investigate.
More details will be released today.
