-Messenger photo by Elijah Decious A Chrysler Town and Country van was turned on its side in an accident in the 2200 block of Sixth Avenue North at approximately 9 p.m., across from St. Edmond Catholic School. The eastbound vehicle with three occupants suddenly experienced an unknown malfunction that veered it to the curb, flipping it on its side in the process. Sgt. Zach Stanley of the Fort Dodge Police Department said the front axle of the vehicle appeared to be broken, but could not immediately determine the cause of the single vehicle accident. No injuries were reported.
