A Chevrolet Cruze sedan sustained heavy damage in a semi-trailer collision at approximately 1 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Triton Plaza and Kenyon Road. Lt. Dennis Quinn with Fort Dodge Police Department said the sedan, turning right at the green traffic light in front of Casey’s, was hit by the Transportation Specialists Limited truck that was going through what the driver said was a yellow light. Quinn said witnesses relayed that the light turned red shortly thereafter. One passenger was in each vehicle, with no injuries reported. The man driving the sedan complained of shoulder pain, but did not seek medical attention. The driver of the TSL truck was cited by police.
